The story of LuMi
When our son was born, we were looking for a gentle night light that could help us with our nightly activities, like feeding and diaper changes, without disturbing each other or our baby.
All the nightlights on the market at the time were either too bright, made from hard plastic, were too complex to use or not portable.
So we created Lumi, which combines the timeless quality of a plush doll with the soft magical glow of a lantern. LuMi was designed to grow with our family, taking on different roles at each stage of our journey as a new family.
As our baby grew into a toddler, LuMi became his own trusted companion, giving him control over the dark and providing him with comfort during the night. It helped him navigate his way to the bathroom (and very often our bedroom), and kept those monsters at bay.
The accompanying storybook brought LuMi to life, and provided a fun way for us to unwind from the day together, making the transition to bedtime smoother.
We decided to share LuMi with you in the hope that you will find it as useful as we did. LuMi has been successfully crowdfunded on Indiegogo and is now available here on our own web store.
